The Dynamic Laws of Casting
- You will not get every job for which you audition.
- You will get the job, but the film will fall through.
- You will think you've nailed it, then never hear from them again.
- You will have days when you are just 'off.'
- Your best reading may well occur in the elevator after the audition.
- You will be competing with cell phones, pagers and lunch.
- You will be read by people who can barely read, let alone act.
- You will walk in with all the confidence in the world, only to get psyched out by the gorgeous blonde in the corner.
- You've been told that agents and casting directors are people, too... but you're beginning to doubt it.
- YOU WILL WORK AGAIN IN THIS BUSINESS
